This appliance is intended for household use only. No
user-serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified service
personnel. If the appliance is of the ground type, the extension cord
should be a grounding 3-wire cord.
BEFORE FIRST USE
Before using for the first time, the baking surfaces should be cleaned with a
moist cloth. We recommend lightly greasing the baking surfaces when
using for the first time. This will not be necessary on subsequent
occasions. The first two or three waffles should not be eaten. Before
filling with batter, please decide if you want medium or crispy waffles by
using the adjustable thermostat knob.
