HOW TO MAKE WAFFLES
1. Insert the plug into a 120V/60Hz only outlet.
2. The red power light will illuminate when the appliance is
plugged into the outlet. The red power light indicates that
the unit is on and is preheating.
3. The desired degree of browning can be achieved with the
adjustable thermostat. Choose your desired temperature by
turning the adjustable thermostat knob from low to high (or
high to low) setting. When the appliance reaches the set
temperature, the green ready light will illuminate and 6 beeps
will sound to let you know it is time to pour the waffle
(pancake) batter into the bottom of the grid (Belgian plate).
The appliance will maintain the set temperature during the
entire baking process. NOTE: Be sure to close the lid
before baking begins.
4. The green ready light will turn off when the baking operation
begins. It will light up again along with 3 beeps to let you
know the waffle is done.
NOTE:
• Care must be taken to ensure that fingers do not come into
contact with the plates.
• Bake only with the lid closed.
5. When baking is finished, open the waffle maker and remove
the waffle with a plastic or wooden spatula. Never use
-4-
metal knife as this may damage the non-stick coating.
6. NOTE: The waffle maker does not turn off automatically after
baking is complete. The only way to turn off the waffle
maker is to remove the plug from the outlet. Be sure to
unplug the waffle maker after each use.
IMPORTANT: Contents are hot. Use caution when removing waffle
from the plates.
7. Always unplug the appliance from the outlet after baking is
complete. Allow to cool before taking off or putting on any
parts, and before cleaning. CAUTION: Contents are hot.
8. Please return the appliance to the nearest service facility for
repair, adjustment and replacement when both red and green
lights flash.

operation and allow the appliance to cool down.
