Malfunction Cause Remedy
Loud water noise
Water level in the sump to

Clean fleece roll runs
hard
Roll has become wet
Replace or dry wet roll if
necessary
Dirty fleece roll runs
hard or not at all
Dirt roll is too wet and
therefore too heavy
Cut through the fleece,
remove the dirt roll and
thread the fleece back in.
The roll do not continue
to rotate despite dirt
Float switch is jammed Remove jam
The fleece has jammed Loosen jam
The fleece does not get
dirty
No or much too little water
supply
Check water supply and
increase if necessary
