The fan cover and motor fan must be removed in order to check and adjust the
brake air gap as well as to replace the brake disc.
9.4.1 Removing and fitting the fan

Remove the retaining ring, if
required.
Remove the fan.

Undo the four retaining bolts and
remove the fan cover.

Push the fan onto the shaft and secure it with the retaining ring, if required.
IMPORTANT. Ensure the retaining ring correctly clicks into the slot on
the shaft when assembly is complete.
Fit the fan cover.
NOTE. Tightening torque
ZB. 63 - 100 motors = 4 Nm (PBT+ die-cast aluminium)
ZB. 63 - 100 motors = 2,5 Nm (PA 6)
ZB. 112-132 motors = 6 Nm
ZB. 160-225 motors = 10,5 Nm
