influence the cooling effects, and the exhaust temperature will be over-high, which will cause the machine trip.
Therefore, at regular intervals, the dust on the fins should be blown away by low-pressure compressed air, and if
unable to blow off, it should be cleaned by solvent to make sure the cleanness of cooler heat dissipation surface.
When the tube cooler is blocked, it should be soaked in a special potion and clear out the scaling in the pipeline
by mechanical system to ensure it is totally clean.
b. Engine oil filter
Oil filter is a kind of filters of paper characteristic with the function to remove the impurities in oil, such as
mental particles, oil deterioration and so on. Its filtering precision is between 10µ—15µ, which will well protect the
bearing and rotors. The pressure difference lamp can judge whether it is the time to replace the oil filter, if the
lamp on, it shows that the oil filter is blocked and must be replaced. It needs replace oil and oil filter after the new
machine first operation for 500hours, and then replace according to the lamp. If not do replacement when the
pressure difference is too big, it may result in insufficient oil inlet and machine trip for high exhaust temperature,
meanwhile, the insufficient oil will influence the bearing service life.
c. Check valve
Oil stop valve is using the two close solenoid valve and starts with electricity while shut down when cut off
Electricity, with the function to cut off oil-way immediately when machine stops so as to get rid of the oil in the oil
tank continuing injecting into the compressor, which will lead to the lubricating oil injection from air inlet. Oil stop
valve is an important part, if it appears failures, the compressor may loose oil and burn out.
d. oil-gas separator
Filter element of the oil-gas separator is made up of multilayer fine glass fiber. The fog-style oil-gas in the
compressed air almost can be filtered away through the oil-gas separator, and the oil particle size can be
controlled below 0.1m and oil content below 5PPM. The lubricating oil quality and its surrounding environment
pollution degree will have a great influence on the service life of oil-gas separator. If the environment is severely
polluted, front air filter can be installed. As for the lubricating oil selection, we must adopt the compressed oil from
original factory (Don’t use oil from other factories, i.e. fake oil or processing oil). A safety valve, discharge valve
and pressure maintenance valve are installed at the outlet of oil-gas separator, where the compressed air will be
drawn out and enters the after cooler.
The filtered oil from oil-gas separator gather in a small circle groove in the center position and backflow to the
inlet of machine through an oil return pipe, which can avoid that the filtered lubricating oil will be discharged with
air. In general, whether the oil-gas separator is damaged or not can be judged by the following methods:
a). Oil content in the air pipe increase
b). Install an oil-gas separator pressure difference switch between oil tank and oil-gas separator, with the set
pressure difference value 0.15MPa. When the pressure difference between the front and back of oil-gas
separator exceeds the set value, the indicating lamp powers on, which show that the oil-gas separator has been
blocked and should be replaced immediately.
c). Check whether the oil pressure is on the high side or not.
d). Check whether the electric current increases or not.
e. Thermostatic valve
A heat control valve, with the function of keeping the exhaust temperature above the pressure dew
temperature, is installed in the front of oil cooler. When starting operation, the lubricating oil temperature is low,
during which time the heat control valve will open the reflux loop automatically, and oil will enter the compressor
not through oil cooler. If the oil temperature rises to above 67, the valve will open slowly with the rising
