If your Denon Professional Recording Equipment doesn't recognize a USB device or SD card, try disconnecting and reconnecting the USB device or SD card to make sure it is securely inserted. Make sure the USB device is of a mass storage class or compatible with MTP. Ensure the USB device or SD card is formatted using a FAT16 or FAT32 file system. Avoid using a USB hub, USB extension cable, or SD card reader. Note that the unit does not supply power to USB devices, so if your USB device requires a power source, connect it to one. Finally, remember that not all USB devices or SD cards are guaranteed to work; some may not be recognized.
