How to troubleshoot a DENTSPLY Furnace when the muffle does not heat and no lights are illuminated?
    • M

If the muffle in your DENTSPLY Furnace isn't heating and no lights are on, start by checking the power supply to the unit's AC receptacle. If the power supply is OK, replace the fuse with a 1A fuse (P/N: 9320071). If the issue persists, the circuit board may not be functional and require replacement (P/N: R9494084 for 115V, or P/N: R9494085 for 230V).

If the muffle in your DENTSPLY Furnace isn't heating, it could be due to several reasons: * The thermocouple may not be tightened to the pyrometer - check the TC wires on the pyrometer. * The thermocouple may be burned out (open) - replace the thermocouple (P/N: 9490573). * The circuit board may not be functional - replace the circuit board (P/N: R9494084 for 115V, or P/N: R9494085 for 230V). * The muffle may be burned out - replace the muffle (P/N: 9490567 for 115V, or P/N: 9490585 for 230V). * The thermocouple may be shorted - replace the circuit board (P/N: R9494084 for 115V, or P/N: R9494085 for 230V). * There may be a wiring problem - return the unit to DENTSPLY Ceramco. In addition, calibrate the meter as per instructions.
