Overview

This document describes the DENVER SCO-80125 Electric Scooter, a personal entertainment device designed for domestic use.

Function Description

The DENVER SCO-80125 Electric Scooter is a personal entertainment device. It is not intended as a means of transport or sports equipment. The scooter is designed for a single user aged 14 years and above, with a maximum weight of 100 kg. It operates safely and quietly under normal conditions.

The scooter features a display with three buttons: a power button, a speed-up button (▲), and a speed-down button (▼). The display shows single mileage (KM), speed, time, gear level, and battery level.

  • Power On/Off: Long press the power button to turn the display on or off.
  • Automatic Power Off: The scooter automatically turns off after 5 minutes of idle time.
  • Display Information: Short press the power button to cycle through TIME, ODO (total mileage), and DIS (driving distance after switching on). TIME and DIS are cleared after power off, while ODO is retained unless manually cleared.
  • Gear Change: Short press the ▲ or ▼ button to change the gear level (Gear 3 for fast, Gear 2 for medium, Gear 1 for slow speed).
  • Acceleration: Gently press the accelerator button. The depth of the press is related to the set gear level.
  • Deceleration: Gently press the deceleration dial. The deeper the press, the greater the deceleration. Pushing too hard can damage the brake dial.
  • Total Mileage Clear: Press ▲ and ▼ buttons simultaneously, then press the power button to clear the total mileage.
  • Start Mode (Zero/Non-zero): Press ▲ and ▼ buttons simultaneously, then press the power button and select P3 mode. A parameter value of 0 enables zero start (accelerator works from stationary), while a value of 1 enables non-zero start (manual push-off required before accelerator works). The factory default is non-zero start.
  • Braking: The scooter has both an electric brake (button) and a mechanical rear brake. Pressing the brake button activates the electric brake. For safety, the rear wheel brake system should be used at high speeds. Pressing both the accelerator and electric brake button simultaneously will automatically brake the scooter.
  • Lights: The scooter is equipped with a front LED light and a rear LED lamp.
    • Front LED Light: Press and hold the ▲ button for 3 seconds to turn it on or off.
    • Rear LED Lamp: Powered by 2 AA batteries (not included). It can be detached, opened with a coin, and batteries loaded according to polarity. Press "PUSH" to cycle through flash, constant light, and off modes.
