Do you have a question about the Deta 4600 and is the answer not in the manual?
Always switch off the electrical supply before installation. Use a DP connection unit fitted with a 3A fuse.
Install through an external wall with an external grille. Mount on a flat surface, min 1.8m from floor.
Drill appropriate hole size (Ø110mm max for 4" fan, Ø155mm max for 6" fan) for fan and ducting.
Ensure ducting is flush to walls and runs are as short as possible for optimum performance.
Undo the securing screw on the bottom edge to remove the fan's front cover.
Mark fixing screw positions and cable entry hole on wall/ceiling before drilling.
Drill and plug the wall or ceiling at the marked positions for installation.
Route cable to exit at marked position, leaving enough for termination.
Secure the fan body in its final position after drilling and routing cable.
Connect the electrical cable to the fan terminals.
Reattach the front cover and secure it with the screw.
Install inline fans within ducting between grilles, ideally in loft space. Secure ducting with supplied cables.
Operate when light is switched on and stay on for a pre-set time after light is off.
Operate on light or high humidity; stay on for a pre-set timer period after conditions cease.
All ventilation fans have a low noise level, under 35dB.
Prevents motor overheating if impeller jams, ensuring safety.
Meets Building Regulations for ventilation and specific fan power requirements.
Move air over short distances (<2m), suitable for wall or ceiling installs for optimal airflow.
Connect to lighting circuit, controlled by switch; use DP switched unit with 3A fuse.
Connect to lighting circuit, protected by 3A device, controlled by 3-pole fan isolator.
Install in Zone 1; transformer outside Zone 2, requires 240V supply, has ELV output.
Inline fans are mains voltage, wiring same as timer fans; 12V light is low voltage via transformer.
Adjustable from 2-30 minutes, factory set at 15 mins. Turn clockwise to increase time.
Adjustable range 60-90% RH, factory set at 75%. Turn clockwise to increase humidity.
Details voltage, compliance, hole cutout dimensions, timer/humidistat adjustment ranges, extraction rates, and IP rating.
