The water cooler's primary function is to provide readily available hot and cold drinking water. It operates by heating and cooling water from a standard bottled water source or a water purifier. The appliance features a durable water dispensing system and is designed for energy-efficient operation with low noise. It includes a double safety system for temperature control and heating protection, ensuring that hot water temperatures consistently range between 80°C and 95°C, making it suitable for beverages and instant noodles.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Model: WD-1103-22L-WH
  • Voltage - Frequency: 220-240V ~ 50/60HZ
  • Heating power: 500W
  • Cooling power: 65W
  • Water heating capacity: 5.0L/h
  • Water cooling capacity: 1.0L/h

Usage Features:

The water cooler is designed for straightforward operation. To use, a bottled water container is vertically inserted onto the bottle seat. Users then press the water faucets until water flows out, particularly from the red hot water faucet, to ensure the tank is filled before heating. The appliance is activated by plugging it into a wall socket and turning the power switch to "ON." It features indicator lights for both cooling and heating, which illuminate when active. The system is designed to automatically turn on and off to maintain desired hot and cold water temperatures.

The appliance is intended for use in ambient temperatures between 10°C and 32°C. It is suitable for various applications, including staff kitchen areas in shops, offices, and other working environments; farmhouses and hotels; motels and other residential-type environments; bed and breakfast-type environments; and catering and similar non-retail applications.

Safety and Installation Guidelines:

  • Placement: The water cooler must be installed indoors on a flat surface, at least 15cm from the back wall, and in a dry, ventilated area, away from high temperatures, direct sunlight, rain, or open air. It should not be tilted more than 45° during movement to avoid compressor damage.
  • Power: Ensure the supply cord is not trapped or damaged when positioning the appliance. Do not locate multiple portable socket outlets or power supplies at the rear. The power plug should be easily accessible. Do not pull on the power cable to unplug the appliance; always use the switch to turn it on or off.
  • Water Tank: It is crucial to ensure there is hot water from the hot water faucet before plugging in and switching on the appliance to heat. Operating with an empty water tank can cause damage.
  • Children: Children should not be allowed to use the red hot water tap without supervision. The appliance is not to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction. Children should be supervised not to play with the appliance.
  • Flammable Substances: Do not store explosive or combustible substances (e.g., aerosol cans with flammable propellant) in the appliance.
  • Other Appliances: Do not place other appliances inside the water cooler unless recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Long Periods of Non-Use: If the water cooler is not used for a long period (e.g., overnight or extended absence), it is recommended to unplug it and drain all water.

Maintenance Features:

Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and hygiene of the water cooler.

  • Initial Use/After Non-Use: Before first use or after a long period of non-use, the water tank and water pipes should be cleaned and, if possible, disinfected. The first batch of heated water should be discarded. When draining the system, the heating switch should be turned to the OFF position.
  • Regular Cleaning: The system should be washed and disinfected every 3 to 6 months using a suitable cleaner and following its instructions for use.
  • Internal Cleaning: Do not clean the inside of the water cooler with water to avoid electric hazards.
  • Troubleshooting: Before conducting any troubleshooting, always turn off the water cooler and disconnect it from the power source. The manual provides a troubleshooting guide for common issues like lights not working, leakage, and problems with heating or cooling, along with possible causes and solutions (e.g., checking power connections, replacing parts like water containers, pipes, or faucets, and repairing electrical connections).
  • Damaged Cord: If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.
