  If your DeVilbiss Healthcare medical equipment unit isn't operating, and all lights are off while the power switch is on with a pulsing audible alert, check the power cord connection at the wall outlet. For 230 volt units, verify the mains connection on the back of the unit. Also, check your home circuit breaker and reset it if necessary. If the problem persists, try a different wall outlet. Press the concentrator circuit breaker reset button located below the power switch. If these steps don't resolve the issue, contact your DeVilbiss provider.

Why is the red service required light on with an audible signal on my DeVilbiss Healthcare Medical Equipment?

  If the red service required light is on and an intermittent audible signal is sounding on your DeVilbiss Healthcare medical equipment, ensure the flow meter is properly set to the prescribed number. Also, check the filter door vents to make sure they are not blocked, and inspect the exhaust area to ensure nothing is restricting the unit's exhaust. If the issue persists, and you have already checked the flow meter and vents, and the exhaust area, turn your unit off, switch to your reserve oxygen system and contact your DeVilbiss provider immediately.

  If the red service required light is illuminated on your DeVilbiss Healthcare medical equipment, check the filter door vents to ensure they are not blocked. Also, check the exhaust area to make sure there is nothing restricting the unit exhaust. Detach the cannula or face mask; if proper flow returns, clean or replace them. Disconnect the oxygen tubing at the oxygen outlet; if proper flow returns, check the tubing for obstructions or kinks and replace if needed. Detach the humidifier; if proper flow returns, clean or replace it. Finally, set the flow meter to the prescribed flow rate. If these steps don't resolve the issue, contact your DeVilbiss provider.

The maximum flow meter setting is 3 LPM when an oxygen bottle is being filled with oxygen from the auxiliary port. Also, check the filter door vents to ensure that the openings are not blocked, and inspect the exhaust area to ensure nothing is restricting the unit exhaust.
