The Battery Reserve Indicator is automatically displayed
when the watch is turned OFF.
The second belt will advance to a number between 0
and 10 to indicate the remaining battery life at the time
the Tread 1 is powered off. If 9 is indicated, the battery
has 90% power reserve. If the 5 is indicated, the bat
-
tery has 50% power reserve, and so on.
If a low battery is detected by the Tread 1, the second
belt indication will automatically be disabled, but the
Tread 1 will continue to track the time on the Hour and
Minute indicator belts. This allows the Tread 1 to continue
operating with dramatically reduced power consumption.
This is an indication that the Tread 1 should be placed in
the charging station.
Once the Tread 1 detects an ample amount of
battery energy from charging, the Tread 1 will then
automatically re-enable the second belt indication.
If the Tread 1 is not placed onto the charger, the
battery will continue to drain. Once the battery level
goes below a usable level the internal circuitry will
disable all belt movement. The Tread 1 must be
placed in the charging station in a short period of
time to retain the set time. Once the battery level is
brought back to a usable level, the Tread 1 can be
turned on again.
A completely depleted battery needs a complete 8
hour charge before returning the watch to service.
