What to do if fasteners jam in my DeWalt D51236 Nail Gun?
    • M
      Matthew PughAug 18, 2025
If your DeWalt Nail Gun is jamming fasteners, it could be due to a worn driver channel in the nose piece, in which case you should replace the nosepiece. Ensure you are using the recommended size and angle fasteners. Also, check that the magazine screws are holding firmly if the magazine is loose.

Why is my DeWalt D51236 lacking power and running sluggishly?
    • C
      Christopher WilliamsAug 27, 2025
If your DeWalt Nail Gun is experiencing a lack of power or feels sluggish, there are several potential causes. First, ensure that the air pressure is at the recommended level by checking the air supply. Insufficient lubrication can also lead to this issue, so lubricate the tool with approved pneumatic tool oil. Damaged or worn o-rings can also cause performance issues; replace them using O-Ring Repair Kit D510001 D512381. Finally, a blocked or clogged exhaust port can restrict airflow; disconnect the air, remove the exhaust plate from the top of the tool, and clean the port.
