Repairs
The charger and batteries are notserviceable. There are no
serviceable parts inside the charger or batterypack.
WARNING: To assure product SAFETY and RELIABILITY,
repairs, maintenance and adjustment (including
brush inspection and replacement, when applicable)
should be performed by a factory service center or
an authorized service center. Always use identical
replacementparts.
Storage (Fig.A, D, F, T)
Store in a dry, covered location above freezing temperature
with the batteries removed. STOREINDOORS.
Always completetely empty water from high pressure
hose, pressure washer unit, nozzles, and spray wand.
Nozzles can be stored in the nozzle storage slots on the
handle grip as shown in Fig.A.
High pressure hose and suction hose can be stored coiled
up and secured between the cage and the pressure
washer unit

as shown in Fig.D.
Spray wand can be stored, broken down into three
pieces, in the storage compartment

the built in storage space in the pressure washer unit as

Cleaning
WARNING: Blow dirt and dust out of all air vents with
clean, dry air at least once a week. To minimize the risk
of eye injury, always wear ANSI Z87.1 approved eye
protection when performing thisprocedure.
WARNING: Never use solvents or other harsh
chemicals for cleaning the non‑metallic parts of the
tool. These chemicals may weaken the plastic materials
used in these parts. Use a cloth dampened only with
water and mild soap. Never let any liquid get inside the
tool; never immerse any part of the tool into aliquid.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious personal
injury, turn unit off and remove the battery pack
before making any adjustments or removing/
installing attachments or accessories. An
accidental start‑up can causeinjury.
Your
DeWALT power tool has been designed to operate
over a long period of time with a minimum of maintenance.
Continuous satisfactory operation depends upon proper tool
care and regularcleaning.
Nozzle Cleaning (Fig.A, R)
WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious personal
injury, turn unit off and remove the battery pack
before making any adjustments or removing/
installing attachments or accessories. An
accidental start‑up can causeinjury.
If the nozzle becomes clogged with foreign materials, such as
dirt, excessive pressure may develop. If the nozzle becomes
partially clogged or restricted, the pump pressure will pulsate.
Clean the nozzle immediately using the nozzlecleaner.
1. Turn OFF the pressure washer unit

by toggling the
speed selector switch

to the center position.
2. Turn off the watersupply
and
remove the battery packs
from the pressure washer unit

3. Pull trigger

on spray handle

to relieve any
waterpressure.
4. Remove the nozzle from the spray wand

by pulling
the quick connect collar

toward the spraywand.
5. Using the nozzle cleaning tool

, unclog any debris
from thenozzle.
6. Run water from a faucet or garden hose through
thenozzle.
Moving the Pressure Washer (Fig.A–E)
1. Turn OFF the pressure washer unit

toggle the speed
selector switch

to the center position. Then turn off
the watersupply.
2. Point the spray wand

in a safe direction and pull the
trigger

to release remaining waterpressure.
3. When the spray wand is completely empty, pull up the
telescoping handle

and pull the pressure washer unit
using the wheels

to your nextlocation.
Shutdown (Fig.A, E, L)
1. Turn OFF the pressure washer unit

by toggling the
speed selector switch

to the center position. Then turn
off the watersupply
and
remove the battery packs from
the pressure washer unit

2. Discharge residual pressure by squeezing the trigger

until no more water comes out of the spray wand

3. Engage the spray trigger lock‑off

4. Disconnect the garden hose from the water intake

5. Disconnect the high pressure hose

from the high
pressure water outlet

and drainhose.
Suction Hose (Fig.A, L)
1. To clean the suction hose 

, shut off the
pressurewasher.
2. Pull the trigger switch to relieve any waterpressure.
3. Remove the suction hose

from the pressurewasher.
4. To clean the suction hose, use water from a garden hose
to thoroughly rinse out the suction hose and allow it to
fullydry.
Suction Hose Filter (Fig.S)
1. Turn the filter

on the end of the suction hose

counterclockwise and remove.
2. Remove the strainer from inside of the filter.
3. Rinse all of the parts with clean water andreassemble.
