Safety Instructions for Radios

away from heat, oil and sharpedges.
• Remove the battery pack. Switch off before leaving it
unattended. Remove the battery pack when not in use, before
changing accessories or attachments and beforeservicing.
• This appliance is intended to be used in moderateclimates.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons(including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for theirsafety.
• Socket and extension cord must have an operative
protectiveconductor.
• When operating the radio in damp environments is
unavoidable, use a residual current device (RCD). The
use of a residual current device (RCD) reduces the risk of
electricshock.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with theappliance.
• Radio shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing; no objects
filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed onit.
• No exposed flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be
placed on theradio.
• Mains plug is used as the disconnect device; the disconnect
device (plug) shall remain readilyoperable.
• Do not operate the apparatus with a damaged cord orplug.
