Cleaning
WARNING: Blow dirt and dust out of all air vents with
clean, dry air at least once a week. To minimize the risk
of eye injury, always wear ANSI Z87.1approved eye
protection when performingthisprocedure.
WARNING: Never use solvents or other harsh
chemicals for cleaning the non‑metallic parts of the
tool. These chemicals may weaken the plastic materials
used in these parts. Use a cloth dampened only with
water and mild soap. Never let any liquid get inside the
tool; never immerse any part of the tool into aliquid.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious personal
injury, turn unit off and remove the battery pack
before making any adjustments or removing/
installing attachments or accessories. An
accidental start‑up can causeinjury.

over a long period of time with a minimum of maintenance.
Continuous satisfactory operation depends upon proper tool
care and regularcleaning.

Use of gloves, long pants and substantial footwear is
recommended. Keep long hair and loose clothing away
from openings and movingparts.
CAUTION: Do not point unit discharge at self
orbystanders.
1. Hold the blower approximately 7" (180mm) above
the ground, turn the blower ON and using a sweeping
motion from side to side, advance slowly keeping the
accumulated debris/leaves in front ofyou.

tube securely in place. Never reach down into housing
through tubehole.

Use of rubber gloves and substantial footwear is
recommended when working outdoors. Keep long hair
and loose clothing away from openings and moving
parts. For household useonly.
WARNING: Cut Hazard. When turning the tool
off, wait 10seconds for the fan to stop rotating
beforeremoving the blowertube.
Always ensure the blower is switched OFF and the
battery is removed when:
You leave blowerunattended.
Clearing ablockage.
Checking, adjusting, cleaning or working onblower.
Only use blower in daylight or good artificiallight.
WARNING: Hold the tool using only the designated
gripping surfaces: The powerhead handle and the
auxiliary handle.
WARNING: Do not use the pole as a grippingsurface.
