Charge DeWALT battery packs only with designated
DeWALT chargers. Charging battery packs other
than the designated DeWALT batteries with a
DeWALT charger may make them burst or lead to
other dangeroussituations.
Do not incinerate the batterypack.
USE (without transport cap). Example: Wh rating
indicates 108 Wh (1 battery with 108 Wh).
TRANSPORT (with built-in transport cap). Example:
Wh rating indicates 3 x 36 Wh (3batteries of 36Wh).

Intended Use
The DCB1106 charger is designed for charging 10.8V (12V
Max) and 18V (20V Max) DeWALT Li-Ion XR and XR FLEXVOLT
battery packs: DCB122, DCB124, DCB125, DCB127, DCB181,
DCB182, DCB183, DCB184, DCB185, DCB187, DCB189, DCB203,
DCB204, DCB205, DCB546, DCB547, DCB548, DCB606, DCB609
andDCB612.
The DCB117 chargers is designed for charging 18V (20V Max)
DeWALT Li-Ion XR and XR FLEXVOLT battery packs: DCB181,
DCB182, DCB183, DCB184, DCB185, DCB187, DCB189, DCB203,
DCB204, DCB205, DCB546, DCB547, DCB548, DCB606, DCB609
andDCB612.
DO NOT use under wet conditions or in the presence of
flammable liquids orgases.
These battery chargers and battery packs are professional
powertools.
Charging a Battery (Fig. A)
1. Plug the charger into an appropriate outlet before inserting
batterypack.
2. Insert the battery pack

into the charger, making sure the
battery pack is fully seated in the charger. The red (charging)
light will blink repeatedly indicating that the charging
process hasstarted.
3. The Stage 1 Charging blink indicator represents the charge
process that charges approximately 80% of the battery's
capacity. Stage2 Charging blink indicator represents the
remainder, or top off charge process, for the battery to reach
fullcapacity.
4. The completion of charge will be indicated by the light
remaining ON continuously. The battery pack is fully
charged and may be removed and used at this time or left
in the charger.
NOTE: To ensure maximum performance and life of lithium-ion
battery packs, charge the battery pack fully before firstuse.
