1.) Place provided sheetrock cutout TEMPLATE on ceiling where you wish the fan
to be (DAMPER and electrical positions shown on TEMPLATE). Mark around the
edge of the TEMPLATE. Remove TEMPLATE, then cut access opening along the
line.

WARNING: Disconnect all AC Power Breakers or Fuses before attempting
to cut into your ceiling.
2.) Remove DAMPER from HOUSING. Attach DAMPER to 10.2 cm (4 in) ducting.
Use a length of flex ducting, 61 cm (2 ft) maximum. Hide DAMPER and ducting in
ceiling, placing DAMPER next to where it will later be reattached to the HOUSING.

3.) Disconnect electrical plug from HOUSING. Remove 3 MOTOR screws. Lift
MOTOR out of metal HOUSING, then set MOTOR aside for later.

Attach DAMPER to flex

DUCT TAPE STRIP.
Mark around edge of
