Important:
The CPU will fit in only one orientation and can easily be inserted without exerting
any force.
7. Insert the CPU into the
socket. The gold triangular
mark on the CPU must
align with the corner of
the CPU socket shown on
the photo.
The CPU’s notch will prop-
erly fit into the socket’s
alignment key.

8. Close the load plate then
push the load lever down.
While closing the load
plate, make sure the front
edge of the load plate
slides under the retention
knob.

9. Hook the load lever under
the retention tab.
