Laser is a new engine that started as a project from scratch in July 2015 as a hobby engine between
two brothers, Jeffrey and Michael An. It had its first 1.0 release in December 2015. The early parts
of the engine were influenced by the Chess Programming Wiki, and more recent changes have
drawn influence from Stockfish.

Cinnamon 20
Cinnamon is the successor to Butterfly. It is an attractive opponent for experienced club players.
This engine is not too strong but is not very easy to beat either. If you have no FM (Fide Master) or
IM (International Master) title and you are looking for a beatable engine that can teach you a thing
or two about chess, then Cinnamon is a good choice.

Robocide
Robocide is a free, open-source UCI chess engine written in C from scratch. It is not a complete
chess playing program and requires an interface supporting the UCI protocol. In addition to the
usual features of modern chess engines such as a transposition table and null-move-pruning,
Robocide also tries to implement much special case knowledge.
