Start-Up
When all mounting and connection work has been
completed, the functioning of the unit is to be tested.
The following minimum tests should be carried out:
- Insulation test with a voltage of at least 500 V.
- The insulation resistance must be at least 0.5 M
Ω
.
- Measure the power consumption of the device. If
necessary, cold resistance measurement may be carried
out.
Initial heating of units by a specialist is not necessary.
Reassembly
If devices which were already installed and operated are
dismantled and reassembled in another place, they, too,
must be started-up according to the above instructions after
installation. During installation please ensure that the
thermal insulation is not damaged. Damaged parts of the
thermal insulation must be replaced.
The initial charging after reassembly starting with the device
in cold state (room temperature) up to the switching off of the
charge controller must be monitored by a technician.
Measure the electrical energy (kWh) stored. It must not
exceed 125% of the rated charging stated on the power
rating plate.
Repair Notice
Electric storage heaters may only be repaired by qualified
personnel. Repairs which are improperly carried out can
endanger the safety of the user.
The devices have a high-grade thermal insulation. Only
remove the core room cover with integrated thermal
insulation when replcaing the heating elements. All other
electrical components can be accessed by removing the side
panels.
Resetting the Temperature Limiter
Note on Disposal
Do not dispose of the unit with general household
waste. The device must be taken to a local waste
disposal plant.
