1. Update the EVO/RACING module firmware with Rapid Bike software version 2.0.6.8 or further

2. Fasten the device, using the supplied Velcro, in a position easy to look at and reach (see picture)

3. Route YOUTUNE wiring harness up to the Rapid Bike module and fasten it to the OEM harness using cable ties

4. Connect the three connectors of YOUTUNE harness to the Rapid Bike main wiring harness

5. Turn ignition on. Device must light up all LEDs and the display; then it should set to RPM position showing 0 rpm

RPM: showing the information listed above; pushing (-) button for 2 seconds it enables a RPM/Speed

Control function to maintain engine rpm at constant level, therefore cruising at constant speed.

(*) Bike models equipped with ride-by-wire system CAN NOT disable this RPM/Speed Control function

by opening at full gas; be sure to use the other two systems as described above

AFR: Changing target value of auto-adaptive feature in order to modify fuel adjustments performed automatically

by EVO and RACING modules and obtain a richer (+ means more gasoline) or leaner (- means less gasoline ) fuel mixture.

Default value is 0 (no variations of auto-adaptive feature's target), and it can be modified of +/- 2 points. An additional push after -2 points value stops

auto-adaptive feature from operating and display shows “OFF”; keep in mind latest correction values will continue to be applied.

YOUTUNE operates directly on the Air/Ruel Ratio with modifications up to +/- 10 points (1 point = 0,1 AFR) ONLY when it is installed one or more My

Tuning Bike unit. An additional push after -9 point value stops this function, while latest correction values continue to be applied.

The Dimsport Rapid Bike YOUTUNE is an accessory module designed to enhance the performance and control of motorcycles equipped with Rapid Bike EVO or RACING modules. It provides real-time adjustments and monitoring of various engine parameters, offering riders a personalized tuning experience.

Function Description:

The YOUTUNE module serves as a user interface for fine-tuning several motorcycle parameters directly from the handlebars. It features a compact display and a series of buttons for navigation and adjustment. A curved line of ten LEDs provides an analog representation of measured values, with blue indicating low and red indicating high. An alphanumeric display shows the precise value of the selected feature. Six LEDs indicate the currently selected feature: Traction Control (TC), Engine Braking (EB), Electronic Quick Shifter (QS), Air Fuel Ratio (AFR), Launch Control (LC), and Revolutions per Minute (RPM).

The MODE button is central to its operation, allowing users to select a specific feature for adjustment and save new settings to the Rapid Bike module's memory. The (+) and (-) buttons are used to increase or decrease the displayed value, respectively. Pressing both (+) and (-) buttons simultaneously allows for modifying the display brightness.

Key Features and Adjustments:

RPM (Revolutions per Minute): The default display shows current RPM. Pressing the (-) button for two seconds activates an RPM/Speed Control function, which helps maintain a constant engine RPM for cruising. This function cannot be disabled by opening the throttle to full gas on ride-by-wire equipped models; other methods must be used.
AFR (Air Fuel Ratio): This feature allows riders to change the target value of the auto-adaptive fuel adjustment performed by EVO and RACING modules. Adjustments can make the fuel mixture richer (more gasoline, indicated by positive values) or leaner (less gasoline, indicated by negative values). The default value is 0 (no variations), with a range of +/- 2 points. An additional push after -2 points stops the auto-adaptive feature, displaying "OFF." The latest correction values will remain active. When YOUTUNE is installed with one or more My Tuning Bike units, AFR modifications can range up to +/- 10 points (1 point = 0.1 AFR). An additional push after -9 points stops this function.
QS (Quick Shifter): This function allows modification of the quickshifter's kill time (cut-off duration) to optimize shifting performance. The LEDs and display show the current gear information (if available) and the applied kill time adjustment. The kill time can be increased by up to +20ms or reduced by up to -19ms. Reducing the kill time to -19ms also turns off the QS feature.
EB (Engine Braking): This feature modifies the engine braking force during deceleration. Riders can increase engine braking by up to +20 points or decrease it by up to -19 points. Reducing engine braking to -19 points also turns off the EB feature.
TC (Traction Control): (Available only for Rapid Bike RACING Module) This activates and modifies the sensitivity of the traction control feature. Riders can increase TC sensitivity by up to +5 points or decrease it by up to -5 points. Decreasing sensitivity to -5 points also turns off the TC feature. This helps improve safety in various riding conditions.
LC (Launch Control): (Available only for Rapid Bike RACING Module) Activated by pushing the (+) button, the display shows "ON." When the throttle is opened, the LEDs show the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) opening, and the display confirms "Step 1," indicating the Rapid Bike module is holding the engine RPM at the required level. Step 2 activates when the clutch is released, controlling power output to prevent rear tire spin. The RPM Stop value, set in the Rapid Bike software, determines when Step 2 ends. LC automatically disables and YOUTUNE reverts to the default mode (RPM or previously stored feature) once the RPM Stop value is reached.
