Description
The DC 6990 P is a fully digital portable conference unit in the
DCS 6000 Digital Conference System. The unit comes with a built-
in 3.5'' LCD color touch screen. The touch screen provides greater
functionality when compared with traditional conference units.
The unit can be configured either as a chairman, delegate or dual
delegate depending on whether one or two persons are going to
use the unit.
The chairman unit allows on-screen microphone handling function-
ality by using buttons for turning microphones on/off and granting
the chairman exclusive speaking rights. The chairman unit also
features voting control for 3-button and 5-button voting sessions
and attendance check, as well as on-screen voting buttons and re-
sults. Channel selector settings are also available on-screen.
Additional functionality can become available in combination with
the SW 6000 Conference Management Software. It increases
conference control, agenda handling, messaging and chip card/pin
code login.
The delegate/dual delegate units enable an overview of the speak-
ers, requests to speak and channel selector settings on-screen.
When the chairman starts a voting session, the delegate/dual
delegate units are automatically prompted with on-screen voting
buttons. When the voting session ends, the voting results are auto-
matically displayed on the screen.
In combination with the SW 6000 Conference Management
Software, agenda display, messaging and chip card/pin code login
are also available.
The gooseneck microphones GM 652x or GM 6622 can be locked
to the unit with a 1.5 mm hex key. The lock is accessible from the
small hole to the left of the XLR socket. Turn the hex key counter
clockwise to lock the gooseneck microphone to the unit and turn
the hex key clockwise to unlock the gooseneck microphone from
the unit.
The unit can be fixed to a table top using the two mounting holes
underneath the unit. Refer to the drawing.
The DC 6990 P can be combined with any conference units from
the DCS 6000 Digital Conference System.
