Parking Brake - The parking brake should be engaged whenever the mower is stationary and
unoccupied.
Safety Interlock System - The mower has a system of safety interlock switches that will not
allow the mower to start unless the steering speed control levers are in the neutral lock position,
the parking brake is set and the deck engaging switch (PTO) is off. If the seat is vacated during
mowing without positioning the controls as previously outlined, the engine will be stopped by the
safety interlock system.
