14. Make sure that there is little or no fuel in the fuel tank and that the fuel valve is in the OFF position before
transportation to avoid spilling.
15. Before use, make sure there are no obvious defects such as a broken terminal or worn cable.
16. Properly ground the generator before use. It is recommended to consult with a qualified electrician to
ensure compliance with local electrical codes.
17. The generator exhaust contains poisonous carbon monoxide. DO NOT use the generator indoors or in
other conned space.
18. DO NOT use the generator in the rain or in any other humid environment.
19. Maintain the generator on a regular basis to prolong its life cycle. Refer to Storage and Maintenance section
to see specic maintenance procedures.
