1.17 Whole System Points of Failure
Note: A single point of failure (SPOF) is a part of a system that, if it fails, will stop the entire
system from working. SPOFs are undesirable in any system with a goal of high availability
or reliability. The following single points of failure have been identified for the BrightSky
Drones DJI Mavic Pro.
• Battery failure
• Motor failure
• Power distribution failure. (ESC, loose soldering, defective wiring).
• Blade failure
• Rotor blade attachment mechanism failure
• Control system failure
• Sensor failures

• All maintenance will be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s
specifications.
