4. DO NOT drop, strike, impale, or manually short-circuit the battery.
5. Keep the battery away from metal objects such as glasses,
watches, jewelry, and hairpins.
6. Never attempt to travel with or transport a damaged battery or a
battery with a power level higher than 30%.
7. The battery has a capacity of 174.6Wh. Please follow the
regulations and guidelines for traveling with these batteries via air.
Battery Disposal
Dispose of the battery in specic recycling boxes in your local area
and only after a complete discharge. DO NOT place the battery
in regular trash containers or bins. Strictly follow your local area
regulations and guidelines regarding the disposal and recycling of
batteries.
Battery Maintenance
1. Never use the battery when the temperature is too high or too
low.
2. Never store the battery in environments outside the range from
50°F (10° C) to 113°F (45° C).
Heating
When operating in low-temperature conditions (i.e. lower than 50°
F):
1. The Intelligent Flight Battery will automatically warm up after
power on if it is installed into the aircraft. After takeoff the self-
heating function will turn off automatically.
2. If the Intelligent Flight Battery is not installed into the aircraft,
press and hold the power button for four seconds to initiate the
self-heating, keeping the batteries at a temperature between
61° F (16° F) to 68° F (20° C), which is the ideal range of
operating temperature, for approximately 30 minutes. Press and
hold the power button for two seconds to stop heating.
Battery Use
1. Make sure the battery is fully charged before each ight.
2. Land the aircraft immediately when the low battery level warning
activates in the DJI Pilot app.
3. Before rst use, it is recommended to mark 2 batteries as a pair
and continue using them as a pair (charge and discharge them
together) to maximize service life and ensure ight performance.
Charging the Intelligent Flight Battery
1. The Intelligent Flight Battery is designed to stop charging when
it is full. However, it is good practice to monitor the charging
progress and disconnect the battery when fully charged.
Battery Maintenance
1. Battery life may be reduced if not used for an extended period
of time.
2. Fully charge and discharge the battery at least once every three
months to maintain battery health.
Battery Storage
1. Charge or discharge the battery to 50% ~ 65% if NOT intended
to be used for 10 days or more. This can greatly extend the
battery's overall life span. The battery automatically discharges
to below 65% when it is idle for more than 10 days to prevent
swelling. It takes approximately 11 days to discharge the battery
to 65%. It is normal that you may feel moderate heat emitting
from the battery during the discharge process. You can set the
discharging thresholds in the DJI Pilot.
2. DO NOT store the battery for a long period of time with its power
fully discharged. It may lead to irreversible damage.
3. The battery will enter hibernation mode if depleted and stored
for an extended period of time. You cannot manually turn off the
battery power LED in this state. Leave the battery unattended for
ve minutes, and then the light will turn off. Recharge the battery
to bring it out of hibernation.
4. Remove the battery from the aircraft when planning to store it for
an extended period of time.
5. Always store Intelligent Flight Batteries in a well-ventilated place.
Battery Disposal
1. If the Intelligent Flight Battery is disabled and the battery cannot
be fully discharged, please contact a professional battery
disposal or recycling agent for further assistance.
2. Dispose of the battery immediately if it cannot be powered on
after over-discharging.
