Ensure to use the correct mains voltage as given in2.
“MACHINE OVERVIEW” on page5. Connectpower plug to
mains power socket. Press ON / OFF icon. Machine moves
automatically to preparing a beverage position.

While machine is heating up, ON / OFF iconstarts blinking
red. After approx. 30 seconds, ON / OFF iconlights up
steady green. Machine is ready to use.

Rinse water tank manually with freshdrinking water. Fill
water tank withfreshdrinking water. Insert water tank into
machine. Close water tank handle.

Make sure that rinsing tool is in capsule holder and capsule
holder is in machine. Place an empty large container under-
neaththe coffee outlet.

Start rinsing with cold water: Set bar display to maximum
level with touch volume selector. Touchcold water icon.
Machine starts rinsing. Lights on bar display vanishpro-
gressively.

Wait until countdown is finished and machine stops.

Continue rinsing with hotwater. Set bar display to max-
imum level with touch volume selector. Touch hotwater
icon. Machine starts rinsing. Lights on bar display vanish
progressively.

Wait until countdown is finished and machine stops.

Remove rinsing tool. Warning: Hot water! Handle with care!
Empty container. Fill water tank with freshdrinking water.
Insert water tank into machine. Place drip grid on drip tray.
