What to do if my Dometic DFMD30 will not light and the blower doesn't turn on?
    • P
      Pam HartmanAug 8, 2025
If your Dometic Furnace fails to light and the blower isn't working, try these steps: First, check the main fuse panel for any blown fuses. It's also possible the furnace-installed breaker switch has tripped or is off. Ensure that the 12VDC power is adequate by checking the RV system voltage. The furnace might be in lockout mode; you can reset it by turning the thermostat off for 10 seconds, then back on. Repeat this up to three times if there's air in the propane line. Finally, inspect the intake and vents to ensure they're free from blockages.

How to fix a Dometic Furnace that won't light but the blower is on?
    • M
      Michael RomanAug 19, 2025
If your Dometic Furnace blower turns on but the furnace won't light, it could be due to air in the LP line. Purge the air by turning on other appliances, such as a cooktop, that are further downstream from the LP tanks. Also, make sure the thermostat is set to 'Heat' and at a sufficiently high temperature.

Why does my Dometic Furnace shut off before reaching the desired temperature?
    • S
      Stephanie PrinceAug 29, 2025
Your Dometic Furnace might be shutting off prematurely due to vent obstructions. Ensure all vents are fully open and not covered. Also, check the air intake to confirm it is free from any blockages.
