4.3 Explanation of operating
controls
Manual energy selection / manual ignition :
1 = Power On switch / Energy selector switch
2 = Flame indicator (galvanometer)
3 = Temperature controllerBattery igniter (gas)
4 = Piezo igniter or battery igniter (gas)
Explanations:
The refrigerator is equipped to operate on
mains power, 12V DC or liquid gas. Select the
desired power supply by turning the energy
selector switch (1) . The energy selector
switch (1) has four settings:
n Off (2)
n Mains voltage (230V AC) (3)
n Direct-current voltage (Batterie, 12V DC)
(4)
n Gas (liquid gas propane/butane) (5)

Switch on the appliance by turning the energy
selection switch (1) clockwise to position :
12V operation.
230V operation,

The refrigerator should only be used in
12VDC-operation while the vehicle’s engi-
ne is running, otherwise the on-board-
battery would be discharged within a few
hours! .
230V operation: this option should only be
selected where the supply voltage of the
connection for power supply corresponds
to the value specified on the data plate.
Any difference in values may result in
damage the appliance.
