The services present in the PSS 5000 are available through several interfaces.
These, together with a brief description of what each interface offers, are listed
in the table below:
Interfaces Description
Doms POS Protocol This is a connection-oriented protocol. It is designed to
communicate with a POS terminal where a constant
connection is required. It also supports communication
with typical Back Office applications.
Doms Host Protocol This is a connectionless protocol (uses HTTP). It is de-
signed to communicate with remote applications where
a constant connection is not required.
FCC Web Application This is the primary interface for technicians configuring
and servicing the PSS 5000.
