Ensure the red plugs at the inlet, outlet, and suction tube fitting openings are removed, and that the unit isn't installed backward—the arrow must point in the direction of fluid flow. If the injector was stored for long, submerge it in room temperature water for 24 hours. If fluid is flowing, the rate might be outside the injector's specifications; adjust accordingly. Also, ensure the operating pressure isn't exceeding the limit and that the On/Off lever is in the ON position and the By-Pass Valve is closed.

Also, check the O-ring retainer for correct installation, and replace the O-ring seat or dosage piston if damaged or worn. Clean and replace the check valve if it's leaking.

Make sure that the On/Off lever is in the ON position and the By-Pass Valve is in the closed position. Additionally, inspect the inlet filter for dirt or blockages and clean it, ensuring the mesh size is correct. Finally, check if #17 is worn or not seated properly; re-seat or replace it.

  If fluid is refilling the solution tank of your Dosmatic Water Pump, the check valve may be leaking. Inspect the seat area on the suction tube fitting. Ensure the check valve and seal fit loosely in the suction tube fitting, and clean the seal and inside fitting of any debris. If the washer seal on the check valve is swollen or shows signs of chemical attack, replace it with a new check valve assembly. Also, check the hose kit for leaks and replace if necessary.
