utensils; any other use not foreseen and not expressly indicated in this manual
is at the total risk and responsibility of the user.
5. At the end of use, the product must be placed on "0" and disconnected
from the mains; allow it to cool down before storing it and never leave it
unattended during cooling to prevent other people from accidentally touching
the still hot surfaces of the hotplate.
6. Always check that the power cable is intact; if it is not, switch it off and store
the product until minimum safety conditions are restored by a specialised and
authorised technician.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance activity:
1. Disconnect from the mains.
2. Do not immerse in any liquid.
3. Always check that the power cable does not touch any hot surfaces.
4. Clean the metal surfaces outside the cooking plate with a soft, damp cloth;
do not use aggressive solvents or abrasive cloths.
5. Cooking residues from the hotplate can be removed with a suitable cleaning
powder and dishwashing screen; however, make sure that there is no water
but only slightly moist parts and dry or allow to dry for a long time before next
use.
HINTS AND TIPS
As a first step, disconnect the hotplate from the mains.
This appliance must never be immersed in water as in any other liquid and
must also be protected from splashing.
Wait until the appliance is cool enough in all its parts before starting the
cleaning process.
Immediately remove crumbs and residues stuck to the surfaces.
Clean the interior and exterior surfaces using a soft, damp cloth with a little,
non-aggressive soap.
CAUTION! Do not use cleaning agents that are too aggressive,
especially with hotplate surfaces that could be irreparably damaged.
Note: cleaning must be carried out shortly after the last use, to
prevent dirt from encrusting and becoming difficult to remove,
without damaging the appliance's surfaces.
Please do not touch the cooker in operation to avoid being burned!
Please unplug the cooker before wash it!
