Usage Features
The dehumidifier offers several user-friendly features:
- Control Panel: A touch control panel allows for easy operation.
- Power On/Off: A single tap turns the dehumidifier on, indicated by a blue light, and another tap turns it off.
- Fan Speed: The unit defaults to high fan speed upon power-on. Users can switch between high fan speed and low fan (sleep) modes.
- Timer Function: A 2H/4H/8H timer can be set to automatically turn off the appliance after 2, 4, or 8 hours. Tapping the timer button again cancels the setting.
- Water Full Indicator: A red indicator light illuminates, and the machine enters standby mode when the water tank is full or removed for more than 1 second. The appliance restarts once the tank is emptied or reinstalled correctly.
- Continuous Drainage: A drain hose is included, allowing for continuous drainage into a washing sink or other suitable receptacle, eliminating the need to frequently empty the water tank. To use this feature, the water tank plug is removed, the hose is plugged in, and directed to a lower height than the water tank's outlet.
- Tilt Protection: If the appliance tilts or falls during operation, all control buttons are disabled, a "buzz" sound reminds the user for 1 minute, the fan continues running for 1 minute and 30 seconds, and the power button light flashes. The appliance returns to standby mode once placed back in a normal upright position.
- Auto Shut Down System: For safety and energy conservation, the appliance automatically shuts down after 24 hours of continuous operation.
- Standby Mode: When plugged in, all indicators flash for 1 second and then turn off, signaling entry into standby mode.
- Post-Shutdown Cooling: After being turned off, the cooling fan continues to work for 1 minute and 30 seconds to dissipate heat, extending the appliance's lifespan. It is recommended not to unplug the power cord during this period.
- Placement Guidelines: The appliance should be placed on a stable, horizontal surface with at least 30cm of space on the back and sides, and 50cm above. It should not be placed directly under an air conditioner to prevent condensation from dripping into it.
- Indoor Use Only: This appliance is intended for indoor residential applications and should not be used outdoors.
- Operating Environment: The room temperature will rise slightly when the appliance is used in a confined space. It should not be used with indoor aerosol repellents or in areas filled with oil, flammable gas, or chemical fumes.
Maintenance Features
- Cleaning: Before cleaning, the appliance must be turned off and unplugged from the wall outlet. The exterior can be cleaned with a neutral detergent and a soft cloth. The water tank should be opened, washed, and dried. The air inlet/outlet should be wiped with a neutral detergent and a soft cloth.
- Filter Maintenance: The washable filter should be cleaned regularly. It is recommended to clean the filter once a month. To clean, remove the filter, clean it with a vacuum cleaner or water, and then dry it in a ventilated place. Do not expose the filter to a high-temperature location or direct sunlight.
- Storage: For extended periods of non-use, the appliance should be turned off, unplugged, and the power cord arranged. The water tank should be emptied and cleaned. The drain hose should be removed and put back into its original location. The air inlet/outlet should be cleaned, and the appliance wiped with a neutral detergent and a soft cloth. Once completely dry, it should be put in a dust cover/bag and placed in a well-ventilated place out of direct sunlight.
