1. Remove tow hook brackets – Using a 17mm socket, remove factory tow hook brackets (if present) by removing (10) M12 flange head bolts. Return
bolts & brackets to vehicle owner. See Figure 2. NOTE: For vehicles without factory tow hook brackets, it may be necessary to clean the existing
weldnuts in frame using a wire brush or compressed air.
2. Install hitch – Raise the hitch into position, raising the passenger’s side hitch bracket above the exhaust first, then raise the driver’s side into position.
Using the supplied hardware, install the M12 bolts, conical toothed washers, and hardened flat washers as shown. See Figure 1.
