Maintenance Features

The overblanket is washable and designed for easy cleaning.

  • Washing: The overblanket is washable. Always check the washing symbols on the label to ensure it is washed correctly.
    • Machine Washing: The overblanket can be cleaned in the washing machine at 30°C on a delicate cycle. Pre-treat any stains by spot cleaning before placing in the washing machine. Use only the delicate cycle for spinning. DO NOT make an additional spinning cycle.
    • Drying in the Tumble Dryer: The overblanket can be dried in a tumble dryer on a delicate cycle, but at the end of the drying cycle it must be air-dried to allow it to dry completely.
    • Drying in the Open Air: When the overblanket is spread out to dry on a clothes airer, it must be stretched so the original size is more or less maintained. This is best done while the blanket is still damp, working alternately on the opposite corners and pulling one side at a time. You might have to repeat this procedure several times until the blanket is completely dry.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Before cleaning, always disconnect the appliance from the mains and disconnect the control connector from the overblanket.
  • Ironing: Do not iron the overblanket.
  • Bleaching: Do not bleach the overblanket.
  • Dry Cleaning: Do not dry clean the overblanket.
  • Storage: When storing, allow the appliance to cool down before folding.
  • Troubleshooting: The manual provides a troubleshooting guide for common problems such as LEDs not lighting up, blue warning light flashing, temperature LED 1 (11) flashing, product being used incorrectly or damaged, power cable or internal wire damaged, control unit damaged, or tears in the fabric. Solutions typically involve checking connections, resetting the unit, or contacting an authorised technical service centre.
  • Disposal: The packaging of the appliance is made of recyclable materials. Dispose of the packaging in accordance with environmental protection regulations. The appliance itself is marked with the crossed-out bin symbol, indicating it should not be disposed of with ordinary household waste but taken to an appropriate recycling centre for electrical and electronic equipment.
