Usage Features:
- Positioning: The mattress protector (5) should be placed directly onto the mattress with the connector side facing downwards at the top. It must be spread out smoothly without creases, with the edges of the skirt tucked under the mattress. It is crucial that the mattress protector is placed between the mattress and the flat sheet, not on top of persons in bed.
- Connecting the Control Unit: The control unit connector (2) is inserted into the mattress protector connector (1). The control unit cable is then routed along the floor next to the bed. The plug is inserted into the mains socket (3). The control unit performs a self-diagnosis, indicated by flashing LEDs (10, 11) in a clockwise sequence for about two seconds.
- Temperature Selection: The control unit (6) has a temperature selector (8) and temperature LEDs (11).
- Fast Pre-heat (6): Press the ON/OFF button (7) to turn on. Select temperature 6 for fast pre-heat. The control unit automatically sets to temperature 6 and the auto shut off timer to 1 hour.
- Medium Pre-heat (5-4): For medium pre-heat, select temperature 5 or 4.
- Continuous or all night use (3-1): For continuous or all night use, select temperature levels from 1 to 3.
- To switch the mattress protector on, press the ON/OFF button (7). The appliance checks for correct operation, indicated by LEDs (10, 11) lighting up in a clockwise sequence.
- The temperature selector (8) allows choosing the desired temperature. The higher the number selected, the higher the temperature.
- The standby LED (9) lights up in blue when the appliance is on.
- Auto Shut Off Timer: The mattress protector has an automatic shut-off timer of 1, 3, or 9 hours. When switched on, the control unit automatically sets itself to 1 hour on the auto shut off timer. The timer LED (10) lights up in green. To set a different auto shut off timer, press the timer selector button (6) and select the desired timer. Each time the auto shut off timer is reset, the timer starts from zero.
- Switching Off: To switch off the mattress protector, press the ON/OFF button (7) and remove the plug from the socket (3).
