How to fix Drill Master Saw that will not start?
    • D
      davidmejiaAug 10, 2025
There are several possible reasons why your Drill Master Saw won't start: 1. The power cord may not be properly connected. Ensure the cord is securely plugged in. 2. The outlet may not be providing power. Check the outlet. If it's unpowered, turn off the saw and inspect the circuit breaker. If the breaker is tripped, verify the circuit's capacity is adequate for the saw and that no other devices are overloading the circuit. 3. There may be internal damage or wear to components like carbon brushes or the switch. Inspect and replace the carbon brushes, or have a qualified technician service the saw.

Why is my Drill Master 6" Cut-Off Saw overheating?
    • K
      Kimberly ChenAug 16, 2025
Overheating in your Drill Master Saw can occur for several reasons: 1. If you are forcing the machine to work too fast, allow it to operate at its own pace. 2. A misaligned accessory can cause overheating. Check and correct the alignment of the accessory to the fence or table. 3. Using a dull or damaged accessory can strain the motor. Keep cutting accessories sharp and replace them when necessary. 4. Blocked motor housing vents can restrict airflow. Wear safety goggles and a dust mask/respirator while using compressed air to blow dust out of the motor. 5. Using a long or small diameter extension cord can strain the motor. Avoid using an extension cord if possible. If needed, use one with the correct diameter for its length and load.

How to fix Drill Master 6" Cut-Off operating slowly?
    • F
      Frank HaydenSep 3, 2025
If your Drill Master Saw is operating slowly, it might be because the extension cord is either too long or the wire size is too small. Try eliminating the use of an extension cord. If you must use one, ensure it has the proper diameter for its length and the load it's carrying.
