What to do if Drive Oxygen Equipment pulses or flows continuously?
    • D
      David GarciaAug 5, 2025
If your Drive Oxygen Equipment is pulsing or flowing continuously, there might be several reasons. First, check if the unit is accidentally set to the “cf” (continuous flow) position; if so, turn the selector switch to the correct delivery setting. Another possible cause is that the unit wasn't set to “OFF” before you opened the cylinder valve; in this case, turn the selector switch to “OFF,” wait a few moments, and then set it to the proper delivery setting. Lastly, check for any obstructions blocking the vent hole, such as labels or a tight-fitting carrying bag. Remove any obstructions and resume use.

      Scott KingAug 18, 2025
If your Drive Oxygen Equipment isn't pulsing, several factors could be the cause. Ensure the cylinder valve is open by turning it counter-clockwise. Check the oxygen gauge to see if the cylinder is empty and replace it if needed. Inspect the oxygen cannula for any kinks or blockages; remove any kinks and clean or replace the cannula if necessary. Also, verify that the selector switch is set to the appropriate delivery setting and not in the “OFF” position.
