Why is the signal noisy from my DSI JET?
    • D
      Douglas MurrayAug 4, 2025
If the signal from your DSI Laboratory Equipment is noisy, it might be due to several reasons: * An ECG or RIP lead may not be properly connected to the JET device. Ensure all connections are secure. * An ECG lead may not be making good contact with the electrode. Check these connections. * The electrode might not be adhering well to the animal. Check and reattach if necessary. * The electrode could be placed over an area with excessive muscle movement; relocate it if needed. * Some electrode wires might not be attached to the animal. Connect all leads, or short the excess leads together using two patches back to back. * The BP Antenna may not be close enough to the BP implant. Move the BP Antenna closer to the implant and secure its location.

If you're experiencing a low volume signal from the JET RIP on your DSI Laboratory Equipment, consider the following: * The RIP bands might be out of position. Check their placement and adjust if necessary. * The gain setting could be too low. Increase the gain setting on the RIP Modules. * There might be debris in the module to cable connector. Remove any debris from the connection.
