Start and Operation
Single pley operation
Set_the Mode Selector (12) to “single”
position,

le.
First select the correct platter speed, then
unlock tonearm. If the cart idge has a stylus
tip protector, move it upward
When the tonearm is lifted fram its post and
placed beside the tonearm rest, the platter
will rotate, The record on the platter can be
cleaned (with an anii-static cloth ete,) when
the tonearm is in this position.
1. Automatic start
Move the operating switch (18) to "start".
Indexing is interlocked with the speed selec-
tor, so the tonearm will set down into the
lead-in groove af 12" (30 cm) ‘ecords when
switched to 33. 1/3 rpm, and into the lead-in
groave of a 7" [17 cm) record when set 10
46 tpm. To initiate "start" function, press
the switch (18) all the way, The switch re
turns to iis neutral position immediately
after its release. The tonea'm moves 10 the
record, lowers slowly and sets the stylus
gently in the lead-in groove of the record.
