Dunham-Bush Cougar fan coil unit comprises a self-finished galvanised sheet steel casing with multiple access panels.
Cougar is a horizontal basic chassis fan coil unit, available in seven sizes.
Units are available with accessories for fitted stand alone or remote control, including setpoint adjusters.
Standard configuration is an octagonal discharge plenum with up to eight spigots, fitted to suit duct connections.
Purchaser is responsible for off-loading; examine unit promptly. Claims for damage must be endorsed at delivery.
Handle units with care, do not drop. Store in clean, dry conditions. Keep packaging until needed.
Check identity before removing packaging. Retain packaging to protect unit from damage.
Prepare drop rods, suspend unit level, connect ductwork, pipework, drain, and electrical supply.
Connect coil pipework to 40mm centres. Observe flow direction. Use isolating valves and strainers.
Connect 230V supply to flying lead. Fit remote accessories. Refer to wiring diagram.
Ensure unit is clean, filter clean, access panels and ductwork are secure.
Four access panels allow access to filter, drip tray/coil, fans/motors, and discharge plenum.
Check coil connections and drip tray. Purge air from coil. Balance water flow. Test pump operation.
Units use a waterside control system. User control via 0-10VDC signal or temperature control.
