■Cleaning the Machine
The feed ring and paper separator which function as a paper feeder become smudged with
ink and paper shreds as you use the machine. Clean the machine as the smudges may
cause feeding problems.
Follow these cleaning procedures.
1 Press the feed shaft in the direction of
the arrow to remove the right edge of
the shaft.
Take out the feed shaft.
2 Clean the section where ink or paper
shreds are stuck with a cloth soaked
with neutral cleanser or alcohol.
3 Also clean the paper separator on the
feed bin where the feed shaft is
removed.
Remove the feed shaft and clean it.

