• Press [M] key to set the correct sample amount of items that you have put onto the
platform.
• Briey press [PCS] key to conrm the above information, the LCD will now display
“PCS” solid in the corner to show that the scale is in counting mode.
• Remove the sample quantity from the platform.
• Now can place any amount of your item(s) on the scale and the LCD will display a
count.
• You can switch between weighing mode and counting mode by pressing [M] or
[PCS] key respectively.
CALIBRATION
NOTE Calibration is not required before initial use but only if “out2” is displayed or at
intervals as a check to ensure accuracy.
• Reset the scale by pressing [ON/OFF] key.
• Wait until the LCD displays “0.0” and then press and HOLD [M] key for 3 seconds.
• The LCD will display “Zero” followed by the required calibration weight.
• Add the required calibration weight, the display will show “PASS” and return to
normal weighing mode.
• Store the calibration weight safely and press [ON/OFF] to turn off the scale and the
calibration is complete.
MAINTENANCE
Cleaning the casing
• Wipe using a moist cloth or sponge. Do not use solvents as these may damage the
casing.
• Avoid scratching the LCD screen.
• Do not immerse in water or allow moisture to enter the casing.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
• When LCD display starts to fade, it is necessary to replace the batteries. However,
measurement may still be made for several hours although accuracy cannot be
guaranteed.
• Slide the battery cover away from the instrument and remove the batteries.
• Replace with new AAA batteries noting the correct polarity and ret the cover.
