SPARK PLUGS
NOTE
Use the Plug Wrench supplied with this unit.
1Clean off carbon deposits on the spark plug electrode using
a plug cleaner or wire brush.
2Check electrode gap. The gap should be 0.6mm to 0.7mm. Adjust
the gap, if necessary, by carefully bending the side electrode.
Recommended Spark Plug: CR5HSB (NGK)
NOTICEAn incorrect spark plug can cause engine damage.
For good performance, the spark plug must be properly gapped and free
of deposits.
1Disconnect the spark plug cap, and remove any dirt from around the
spark plug area.
2Remove the spark plug with a 5/8-inch spark plug wrench.
DANGEBe careful not to touch the muffler while it is hot.
