OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
PLEASE READ THROUGH THE FOLLOWING
INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING, ASSEMBLING
OR INSTALLING THIS PRODUCT.
1. Height: Adjust height by pressing both push-buttons, rotating
foot-piece, and pulling down until desired height is obtained.
Rotate foot-piece again until both push-buttons snap back
into place.
2. Hand grip: Adjust the hand grip to fit with a slight bend at the
patient’s elbow
3. Safety check: With crutches positioned per diagram below,
confirm patient can lean forward comfortably while resting on
the underarm supports. Patient should not have to stand
uncomfortably erect. Ensure both push-buttons are firmly in
place and hand grip wing nuts are tightened securely.
GENERAL CARE
CHROME AND METAL PARTS
Wipe chrome parts with a clean, soft cloth at least once a week.
All metal parts can be cleaned with auto wax or similar products.
If exposed to moisture, dry immediately. Do not use an abrasive
cleaner that will scratch the finish.
HAND GRIPS AND UNDERARM PADDING
Use only a clean towel dampened with cool water when cleaning
hand grips and underarm padding. Confirm that the grips are dry
before using. NEVER use ammonia-based cleaning solutions or
soap on hand grips and underarm padding. This may cause the
hand grips and underarm padding to loosen or crack.
RUBBER TIPS
Periodically check the rubber tips for rips, tears, cracks or worn
tread. If any of these conditions are found, contact your health
representative immediately.
