What to do if Dynex Card Reader has errors when writing or reading memory cards?
    • G
      gsmithJul 30, 2025
If your Dynex Card Reader shows memory cards in My Computer but encounters errors during writing or reading, first, ensure the memory card is fully inserted into the slot. Try using a different memory card of the same type; if it works, replace the original card. Check if the card has a read/write security switch and ensure it is set to 'Write Enabled'. Also, verify that you haven't exceeded the card's capacity. Inspect the card's contacts for dirt and clean them with a lint-free cloth and isopropyl alcohol. If errors persist, replace the memory card.

Why Dynex DX-CR121 - External USB 2.0 Multiformat Memory Card Reader memory cards do not appear in My Computer?
    • J
      jefffoxAug 15, 2025
If your Dynex Card Reader's memory cards aren't showing up in My Computer or Windows Explorer, ensure the card reader is fully connected. Try unplugging it and reconnecting it. Also, try a different memory card of the same type in the same slot. If another card works, replace the original. Inspect the card slots for bent pins and straighten them carefully with a mechanical pencil tip. If the pins are too damaged, replace the card reader. If you have other card readers connected to your PC, disconnect them and try to install the driver again.
