Please read this guide carefully before using the Dyson vacuum cleaner.
Slide the hose into the runners at the back of the machine.
Slide the wand down into the hose.
Slot the wand into the top of the machine and click into place.
Click tools into place for storage.
Wind the cable anti-clockwise around the winders and secure it.
Ensure hair/clothing is clear of wand cap/brushbar when machine is on.
Press on/off button to start; push cleaner head down and pull handle.
Details manual brush off, upright brush off, and auto brush on modes.
Powerful suction can cause hose to 'pull back' when cleaning stairs.
Ensure machine is upright before using tools.
Use Wand, Hose, or Reverse Wand mode to fit tools.
Always work with the machine at the bottom of the stairs.
Important: bin must be emptied when dust reaches the MAX mark.

Remove fine dust with a cloth/brush and reassemble the bin.
Bin washing is optional; use cold water, no detergents, ensure dry.
Wash your pre-motor filter at least every 6 months.
Press release catch, remove filter housing, then remove filter.
Wash only blue foam and yellow cage in cold water.
Ensure filter is completely dry before refitting, allow at least 12 hours.
Machine may overheat and stop due to a thermal cutout if blocked. Unplug and cool.
Check points 1, 2, 3, and 4 for potential blockages.
Remove obstructions from brushbar, cutting threads carefully.
Check if filter requires washing (step 5).
