How to fix e-LinkCare Medical Equipment meter that fails to turn on?
    • N
      Nancy GonzalezNov 4, 2025
If your e-LinkCare Medical Equipment meter fails to turn on, several factors could be the cause. The battery might be damaged or not charged, so try replacing it. If the meter has been in cold conditions, allow it to reach room temperature (about 30 minutes) before testing again. There may be a Power On self-check error; in this case, remove the battery for 30 seconds, reinsert it, and try again. If the problem continues or there is an Internal calibration check error, contact your local distributor. A contaminated, used, or moisture-exposed test strip can also cause this, so repeat the test with a new strip. Ensure you apply the sample after the blood drop/test strip symbol appears and apply enough sample to fill the test strip check window. Also, apply the sample within 3 seconds to avoi...

If the temperature has exceeded the system's operating temperature, move to a cooler environment and repeat the test. If the temperature is below the operating temperature, move to a warmer environment and repeat the test. If you suspect hardware damage, please contact your local distributor for a meter replacement. A failure or damage of the calibration chip could also be the reason, so replace the calibration chip and perform the test again. Ensure the calibration chip is matched; if not, replace it. If you see a communications failure or the test strip starts flashing "---" while connected to a cable, consult the ACCUGENCE®...
