The EarthLite TravelMate is a desktop, go-everywhere massage support system designed to allow practitioners to bring massage therapy to any home or office. It arrives ready for immediate use and is designed for quick positioning in mere seconds.
Function Description:
The TravelMate provides a stable and comfortable support system for clients receiving massage therapy. It features adjustable components to accommodate individual body sizes, comfort preferences, and different types of treatment. The system includes a FacePillow platform, a chest pad, and a base that can be used on a table/desk or a bed.

- Quick Setup: Designed for immediate use and can be positioned in mere seconds by following step-by-step instructions.
- Versatile Positioning:
- On a table/desk: Clients lean forward, with weight supported by the chest pad and face positioned in the FacePillow. Arms can be positioned on the table (hands down, slightly outstretched, or crossed comfortably around the unit).
- On a bed: Clients lay on the bed with their face comfortably positioned in the FacePillow.
- Adjustable for Client Comfort: Allows for adjustments to the FacePillow angle and height to suit various body sizes and comfort preferences.
- Portability: Its light weight and compact size make it ideal for treatments on the go.
- Folding for Storage/Transport: To fold, release both Quick-Release Levers, gently lay the unit back flat, and lock both levers. It can then be placed into the provided carrying case and zipped closed for easy storage or transport.
Setup Instructions (Table/Desk Use):
- Remove from box, set aside FacePillow and chest pad. Position the TravelMate on the table or desk.
- Carefully pull the base a few inches out of the protective pouch. Locate the Quick-Release levers for both the base and FacePillow platform. Pull in the opposite direction to release.
- Lift and pull the FacePillow platform towards you.
- Twist the chest plate more than a three-quarter rotation away until the Velcro strips face you.
- Support the FacePillow platform while locking both Quick-Release levers.
- Push the TravelMate base back into the protective pouch. Attach the chest pad and FacePillow into place using the Velcro strips.
Setup Instructions (Bed Use):
- Loosen FacePillow platform height adjustment knobs and remove the platform.
- Flip the platform around 180 degrees and re-install the FacePillow platform. Tighten platform height adjustment knobs.
- Adjust FacePillow platform to a flat position using the Quick-Release lever. Remove base from the protective pouch.
- Attach FacePillow to platform as shown, and slide the base between the box spring and mattress.
- Push in all the way to secure.
- The TravelMate is now ready for use.
Important Safety Warning:
Ensure all knobs are fully tightened and locked before placing any weight on the FacePillow/platform. Do not make adjustments while the product is in use or with any weight on the platform.
Maintenance Features:
- Easy Assembly and Maintenance: Designed for straightforward assembly and upkeep.
- Cleaning:
- If using disposable or cloth facepillow covers, the facepillow and chest pad require only a slight wipedown between treatments.
- Periodic thorough cleaning of the facepillow and chest pad is recommended to remove oil residue, which can cause upholstery to dry out and become brittle.
- A solution of 1 part mild detergent (e.g., liquid dishwashing detergent) to 10 parts warm water can be used.
- Cleaning Restrictions (CAUTION): DO NOT use HYDROGEN PEROXIDE, ACETONE, PAINT THINNER, UNDILUTED BLEACH, ARMOR ALL, or other types of INDUSTRIAL CLEANERS. These substances will damage the upholstery's protective coating and void the upholstery warranty.

- Alcohol Based: Isopropyl/Rubbing alcohol (70%), Fantastik Multisurface Disinfectant Degreaser®, Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes, Lysol® Disinfecting Wipes, Metrex® CaviCide™, Metrex® CaviWipes™.
- Bleach Based (1:10 bleach/water solution): Clorox® Dispatch™, Clorox® Germicidal Bleach.
- Hydrogen Peroxide Based: Hydrogen Peroxide, Ecolab® Oxycide™, Rejuvenate™ Disinfectant Wipes.
